Zygmunt Kwasnica - P.E., Principal
Zyg Kwasnica, principal and founder of K Engineering & Design, LLC, has over 40 years of engineering and design expertise relating to commercial and industrial facilities. After arriving from his native Poland, he served two years as an engineer in the U.S. Army. Zyg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Chicago Technical College in 1969, before bringing his career to Arizona in 1971. For 20 years of his career in Arizona, Zyg was Head of Engineering at a national design-build firm, involved in building design and development of modular building systems. In 1992, Zyg founded K Engineering & Design, LLC., incorporating his knowledge into many successful projects as a designer and project manager. Throughout his career, Zyg has obtained Professional Engineer Registrations in most western states. “Respect of environment, solid engineering practices, and client satisfaction are our goals”.

Nicole Lee - Designer / Project Manager
Nicole Lee has over 10 years of architectural design and engineering experience in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Nicole earned an Associate’s degree in Residential Architectural Technology at Lansing Community College in 2004, before relocating to Arizona to attend Arizona State University and earning a Bachelors of Science in Design, with an emphasis on Community Development, in 2007. Nicole is currently in the process of completing the Architecture Registration Exams to become a Registered Architect in the State of Arizona and plans to pursue Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED) Certification. Nicole continues to build her passion for design and expands her horizons with ongoing learning in multiple realms related to architecture, engineering, building preservation and rehabilitation, community planning, and sustainable building practices.
